I’m Phil and I’m the face behind flyer phil.

I want to inspire you to travel. Whether that be somewhere in Europe, further afield or simply here at home in the UK. Everywhere deserves to be explored and even if you’ve been to that place before there’s always more to discover. 

“What’s different about you? There’s literally thousands of other blogs like this ” Well yes, that’s true, but I do feel I have something to offer and that’s my experience.

I’ve been in the travel and hospitality business for over 30 years and I’m still passionate about what I do. For most of that time I’ve worked for one of the UK’s largest international airlines as crew. I’ve worked in all cabins from economy to first class and dealt with all sorts of people, cultures and situations. I love my job and I love travelling but, I also love being at home with my family and friends.
